Riley 
Young

Hi, my name is Riley Young (she/her). I am a writer and a public relations consultant that also has experience as a published journalist for Western Washington University's student publication The Front. I am also working towards a degree in public relations with a minor in film studies.

Through my public relations work and education, I have become proficient in creating social media plans, video editing, poster design, and survey research. 

​

Recently I worked closely with the Marketing Manager for The Pickford Film Center by surveying streaming platform trends and COVID-19. I also helped create social media posts for their Instagram for more details about memberships and volunteer opportunities.

 

I also worked with Western Washington University's Office of Civic Engagement. Within this office, I helped manage social media posts on Instagram. These posts also included educating their following on state and local legislation.
